Why do we have anonymous posts allowed?
I think people need to put a name to the things they say.

So I, for one, will treat all "Guests" with kid gloves to lure them in to creating an identity! There have been some fantastic posts by anon. people - I wish they would join the family. Or at least tell me where else they are directing their hockey passion. I come here too often now to not want to have a name for myself. |

Hey guys.
First, I want to welcome all the newcomers to the forum. We have been working very hard over the last few months and thanks to all of you, this forum has really started to produce some quality hockey talk.
We feel that along with user polls, anonymous posting has encouraged a lot of new people to participate in hockey chatter here at Pickup Hockey.
I understand some of the frustration with anonymous posts, but we do feel that this community will only get bigger, better, and more diverse if we make it easy to express an opinion. And of course we would love to see all of our anonymous users eventually open accounts.
We appreciate the feedback and hope this response helps.
