Andy Murray, the head coach for the ST.Louis Blues, has been chosen by G.M Steve Yzerman to be the head coach for team Canada at this years World Hockey Championships. Murray has done a great job since taking over behind the bench for what use to be one of the worst teams in hockey, the ST. Louis Blues.
Remember that you cant choose any coach you want for this tourney because it goes on during the NHL playoffs.

TSN annouced the other day a few players who have already make it

Roloson
They also named another d-man but i cant remember who, im going to look it up now

Team Canada didn't officially name their entire roster yet (to the best of my knowledge). Im sure that Savard will make it. Who else do you think. They said starting goaltender would be Roloson. I think that Ryan Smyth will be on it (don't think Isles will make it), Marc Savard, Rick Nash and Patrice Bergeron will be a shoe-in. Im not sure if Sakic will say yes or no, but I think its a yes.

I like this choice. Murray will have a preety young team, so he should do fine with Bergeron and Nash. He plays the young kids good, but will have a vetren precence if Joe Sakic decides to play. Canada looks good this year, but Russia looks great too. Should be a good tourney.
