Posted - 02/23/2010 : 22:25:07 Who in their right mind would stand in front of the net with Shea Weber shooting bullets at you??? This guy has a cannon of a shot, but he is continuosly hurting his own players. Broken foot, broken arm, fractured jaw, and these are his Nashville team mates. Plus the fact he drilled Heatley in the Norway game twice. This must make the NHL owners squirm........and tonight he put one through the net against the Germans, they needed replay to see that the waterbottle moved!! |

After he hit Heatley the other night, i couldn't believe when the commentators starting rhyming off the teammates he injured in Nashville with blasts from the point...as the guest pointed out broken foot, broken arm, jaw...was there not a broken leg in there too? Crazy! |

Posted - 02/23/2010 : 23:31:13 The "rip the twine" shot was impressive, but ringin' one off the crossbar and actually pushin' the net up off the ice during the Norway game (if I recall correctly, possibly not) is by far the most incredible shot I've seen. I mean, I've seen frozen pucks split off the crossbar, and high shots shatter the plexi (both witnessed directly) but visibly knockin' the net up by an inch or two off it's moorings for a second is absolutely insane. Hardest shot I've ever seen - hands down. |

Either way, Weber has one hard shot. |
