Last night Mr. Crosby became the third youngest player in NHL HISTORY to reach 500 pts.
1. Wayne Gretzky - 21 years 52 days 2. Mario Lemieux - 22 years 172 days 3. Sidney Crosby - 22 years 244 days
As the title says, that's pretty elite company. My hat's off, to what has been a very impressive stint in the league thus far which has included a scoring title, Hart Trophy, Stanley Cup, Olympic Gold and quite possibly the last thing anyone ever thought he'd accomplish, a Maurice Richard Trophy.
A class act both on and off the ice who's done nothing but make all the right moves to date.
I think what has impressed me most about Crosby however is his ability to change and improve his game. We are all aware of the "whiner" allegations from a few years ago, I've watched him play many times since then and he has done a complete 180 from those days. And just this year, realizing he wasn't as effective of a face off man as he could be he stepped up to the plate and made dramatic improvements in that area of his game.
Well....you can't start a Crosby topic or even mention him with out a barrage of stupidity closely following, that being said....Gentlemen (or should I say children) start your engine.... |

Other than that, i agree with everything you said. He's had a storybook start to his NHL career. |
