If you had to start a pool right now for the next season. +/- don't count, only points...who would you pick. who would be your 6 attackers, 4 defensemen, and 2 goalies, and what would be your team?

Surely this is a joke, not a serious question? Do you really think others are gonna come on here and list their top 60 for next season plus top 40 dmen, etc? C'mon, quit playin' around!

If you're actually serious which i'd find very difficult to believe, wait a few months and buy yourself a couple hockey pool guide books to help.

6894, I think this is a fantasy-type question. Say you had picks 1-12, and had to take a group of players, who would it be.

OP - for goalies, you didn't mention what stats count. Wins only? GAA/SV%? SO?

Forwards:
- Ovechkin
- Crosby
- Heatley
- one of the Sedins
- Zetterberg
- Backstrom

Defense:
- Boyle
- Green
- Weber
- Doughty

Goalies (subject to change based on point calculations):
- Luongo
- Nabokov
