5 defensemen in the HISTORY of the NHL have had seasons of more than 100 points and it has not happened in nearly 20 years and Mike Green is going to do it next year???

Right. Pick your dollar value and I will give you 10-1 odds on that. Heck, I'll give you 100-1 odds on that.

Not a chance!!!

A PPG healthy season would be literally historic.

And Green is tough as cement?? Maybe, but that doesn't help a guy not get injured. He has only 1 of his 4 seasons injury free Missed 8 games this season and 14 last season.

8 guys getting over 100 points?? That is a little more realistic but still a stretch. Only 4 seasons since 1995 have there been more than 3-100 point players in the same season. All of a sudden next year there will be 8??

Finally, injuries definately have an impact, but these new hitting rules will have little to no impact on that.

[br]wow, thats very original.
I agree on Atlanta being very good next season. ..but tamba bay i'm not so sure.

and Burrows 91 pts...not so sure, and the sedin brothers won't be as good as this year. Crosby will be a 110 pts man next season. But i like i like

Thats what i have said for 3 years now about the Sedins, Sedins are better every year!

Look, the new rule against hitting is going in; less injuries more points. Backstrom I think is going to have an injury next year, Burrows is just as good if not better then Perry, Crosby Stinks (opinion response) he will get injured. Mike Green getting injured i laugh at; this guy may get a 1 game injury but he is as tough as cement, causing him too step up his game when Backstrom is injured getting 105 points. now answer the question stop responding to me you had your laugh!

That's a pretty optimistic list of 100+ point scorers, especially 110+ pts. Next season will probably have 1, maybe 2 people who brake the 110 pt mark.

I think next season will be kind of similar, unless scoring goes up in general. Which is possible, but I think goalies had an off year this year, Luongo, Kipper and co. haven't been superb. Maybe in Utemin's season Backstrom gets hurt... I think he may be a little fragile, he just doesn't always get tagged too often. I'd like to see crosby get a 50 goal 70 assist season. He might need a little more help if that is to happen though.

I can't see Backstrom dropping as low as 15th next year. Last season he finshed 10th overall with 88 points as a 21 year old. This year he's currently 4th with 101 points as a 22 year old. The guy is still getting better, and he'll once again be centering Alexander Ovechkin (who's getting 119 points according to you), and Mike Green & his 105 points on the blueline.

Hmm respect people's opinions; if some one last year said Stamkos will get 50 goals next year no one would believe him, well look what he did; maybe not 50 goals but close enough!
a lot of points will happen next year!
Backstrom will prob be like 15th next year with 85 points.

That's a lot of 100+ Point getters, Utemin.

Green really turns it up too, it seems. :/
