With Gretzky, everyone admits he is a good player, one of the best, if not the best of all time, but as with all great players, you either love him or hate him, without many people sitting on the fence.

I was trying to be honest I realize he might have been the 2nd best player of all time behind Mario..but being 25 my first memories of hockey was 91' cup run by the Penguins. Plus he stuck Gilmour in the eye and cost the Leafs the Cup...because everyone knows their beating the Habs! |

I just want to point out that i only included active players who are still playing in the NHL. I see some people are still including Jaromir Jagr as a current player, so if that's the case than he's #1 on my list.
A guy i've been following since he first broke into the league as a regular last season is Claude Giroux. And having the opportunity to watch him night in & night out the last few rounds of the playoffs...the guy is quickly developing into one of my favorite players. Another guy that i didn't include on my original list but probably should of been on it is Blair Betts. |
