With the actual NHL awards right around the corner, I thought it would be a great idea to start handing out awards of my own. Please note, these are not my picks for next Wednesday. This is completely seperate, and completely based on my own personal opinions. Right now I'll only be unveiling the nominees. Here we go

Remember, these awards are based not only on the regular season, but on the playoffs
and olympics as well. You also might notice I took care to include at least one duck in each category. This is because I am extremely biased. The winners will be announced in due time, stay tuned and experience the drama, the intrigue and the excitement surrounding the first annual flying v awrds!
