Here is the latest NHL Calendar for the remainder of the 2007 season (NHL.com)
Feb. 27 - Trade deadline, 3 p.m. EST.
April 8 - Last day of regular season.
April 11 - Stanley Cup playoffs begin.
April 27-May 13 - IIHF World Championship, Moscow.
May 29-June 2 - NHL combine, Toronto.
June 11 - Last possible day for Stanley Cup finals.
June 15 - Deadline for first club-elected salary arbitration.
June 23 - NHL draft, Columbus, Ohio.
July 1 - Free Agency signing period begins.
July 5 - Deadline for player-elected salary arbitration.
July 6 - Deadline for second club-elected salary arbitration.
July 10 - Deadline for eligible players to elect Group 5 free agency.
July 20-Aug. 4 - Salary arbitration hearings held.
Aug. 6 - Deadline for salary arbitration decisions.

ya i guess thats a god idea to move it but ya it does suck for pools

I guess that makes sense. It sucks cause it gives me less time for trades in my pool. |

Yeah, used to be mid-march. I saw something a couple days ago, saying there will be less deals since fewer teams are out of the running...Forsberg is the only name being shopped around because everybody else still has a shot at the playoffs, while Philly is pretty much out. If the deadline was a few weeks later, more teams would be throwing in the towel and sending out the rental players for playoff teams
