Posted - 11/01/2010 : 21:44:09 I'd vote for Mike Ribeiro if we are talking current players. I still can't forget when he went down like he was dying a few years back against the Bruins in the playoffs. That was pretty miserable. My pick for all-time would be Ulfie. His battles against Neely were memorable and probably helped end his career early. People loved to have Ulf.
I swear I'm not a Bruins fan. |

Posted - 11/01/2010 : 16:50:05 Yes Slozo, but the viciousness is part of his agitation. He was the master of the slew foot, the hit from behind, and the knee-on-knee. He ended the career of not only the best power forward ever, but one of the all-time greats, Cam Neely.
Despite all of that, the true reason I picked him was that he was to chicken to take a fight, after the Neely hit I would have loved to see him get his face rearanged by the Bruins.
Anyway, Lemieux was a good pick.

Posted - 11/01/2010 : 14:42:04 Maybe i ought to change my vote? Did i misinterpret the poll? Is it most annoying as in annoying to me? Or as in, annoying other players? I voted Avery cuz i can't stand him, i find his antics pretty ridiculous (although the stick in Marty's face was pretty original), etc. BUT, if i were voting who i felt was the most annoying to other players, hands down it'd be Claude. That, btw, would be a compliment to him. Aside from his offense he provided, especially when the games mattered most, he was brilliant at "doing his job" aka annoying others! |

Posted - 11/01/2010 : 09:57:54 Ulf Samuelsson was a bit too "vicious" for me to put him as annoying, so . . . I voted for the all-time best and most skilled agitator, and top playoff performer:
Claude Lemieux
If he didn't get under your skin, you probably weren't on the ice.

Posted - 10/31/2010 : 20:36:58 I guess bad management is as good a reason as any, if you had to put it in a couple words. Better management would have built better teams, and those teams would have had better chances at winning. Apart from Cliff Fletcher, when did the Leafs have a good manager since Punch Imlach?
Anyway, I voted for Claude Lemieux. I can't think of any one incident that made me hate watching him, but he was always annoying.

surely they haven`t had much success for a long time...due to managerial problems....in my opinion.
The Leafs haven't won the cup for 45 years because of bad management? |

Posted - 10/31/2010 : 17:18:48 hey awesome one, who is your favorite team ?? its so easy to make fun..Leafs golfs...
surely they haven`t had much success for a long time...due to managerial problems....in my opinion. Are the Leafs still 2nd in all time Stanley Cup wins.....next to the Montreal Canadians ?? I`m not sure really, but it has to be Toronto or Detroit.
Not too shabby for a team who hasn`t won a cup in over 4 decades. Too bad for me as a leaf fan, the last time they won a cup i was in Kindergarden |
