List the NHL record that you think will be impossible to break and give the reason why…

Glen Hall 502 consecutive games started as a goalie.

This record will be tough to break…at the present time a goalie will have to start ever game for over 6 seasons, plus the first 11 games of the 7th, do you think that will ever happen?

I think Esposito has come the closest in the modern NHL with 15 Brodeur may have a shot at that one this year but I agree 22 will be hard to get

How about most shutouts in one season?
George Hainsworth holds the record of 22 when he played with Montreal in 1928-29.
Sure that one might be broken one day, although I doubt it. But an add on to that stat is this... he only played 44 games! No one will ever have that high a shutout percentage if they play even 10 games.

I'm not sure if it's considered a record but he's the only one to do it and he did it twice. Bobby Orr winning the Art Ross as a defenseman.

How can Hall have done that twice? He played 502 consecutive games, sat one then played 502 consecutive games?

it was 5, acomplished two times by the Montreal Canadiens

How about the fastest 3 goals by Bill Mosienko in 21 seconds?

Mike Bossy's 9 straight seasons of 50+ goals, there are some young guns but can they keep it up...

I agree with all the ones you guys said. Also i don't think anyone will get 10 points in a game- Darryl Sittler 10, Most goals in a game- Joe Malone 7 and Most goals scored by a team- Canadiens 16 and Most consecutive point scoring streak- Wayne Gretzky 51

Sittlers 10 points in one game. I say it can't be done. Even gretzky couldn't break that one.

Most goals scored by a rookie in one season. Teemu Selanne: 76 goals- Winnipeg Jets 1992-93.

Gretzky's total points
Gretzky's 50 goals in 39 games
Mario's all 5 type's of goals in one game
Orr's +/- in one season
Hall's consecutive starts in goal

I don't think this will ever happen again Pucknuts. I also don't think that once Marty Brodeur breaks Terry Sawchuks record for shutouts that anyone will ever touch that one. There's just too much firepower in the league right now for any young up-and-coming goalie to even compare with Marty. Also, no one will ever touch Gretzky's total points record.

GO OIL!!! YA!!!
