Posted - 01/12/2011 : 13:38:49 I don't know if this is sarcasm or not, but I definitely disagree. Anyone who has watched him play knows what he is all about. He brings that mental toughness and stability to every game that really rubs off on people. While he might not always get a signifigant amount of points, you can't take away his defensive prowess which infuriates opponents. His presence is full of confidence and swagger and is felt by every man on the ice, as well as all the ladies in the stands and watching at home.
He might not be comparable to all time greats such as Bobby Orr and such, but I am certainly surprised at the lack of all star nods, or even Norris nominations. Corrupt system if you ask me.
Why do you think Nashville is doing so well?
"Because they're well coached, and play a good all around team game, executing the 'score by comitee' mentality as well, if not better than any other team, with a solid defensive core."
Everything about that statment is incorrect. Except the part about the solid defensive core. And the defensive core is... Yes, you guessed it. SOB. Nough Said. |
