Anyone see this goal last night? Watch the clip closely! Would have been an incredible goal had it counted!

Ah, i never noticed that! I too am not entirely sure of the rule. I know it's usually if another player touches it but i wonder if it being a shot on goal makes a difference? I know this wasn't necessarily "on goal", but maybe it's something to do with the goalie?

I have a feeling they missed it though.

Anyone know the clarification?

actually, the replay shows that should have counted (I think).

If you look at the play, Giroux hits the puck with a high stick, fair enough. But if that puck is touched by the opposing team, and then goes back to PHI, it should not be a high stick. Miller touches that puck in mid-air with his glove. It then bounces from his glove to Reimer, who plays it off his skate but then hits it in with his stick.

The ref probably didn't see Miller touch the puck. Or I'm misunderstanding the rule.
