If you had the first overall pick for the All-Star game who do you pick? And perhaps more importantly, why?
(Eric Staal and Lidstrom of course are not eligible as they're the team Captains).
Broadly speaking do you go with:
1) Scoring?
2) Defence?
3) Goalies?
4) Friends / Family / Teammates / or countrymen? |

Scoring first, friends/family/team mates/countrymen next, followed by goalies and D in either order, prob d first? Goalies are seldome "stars" in this game of no d, therefore i'd not waste my time with them.
This game is all about putting on a show really. In the friends/family/etc category, the least of my concerns there would be team mates, only cuz i play them all the time. I'd like a chance to play with other guys who i either don't play with often (countrymen) or guys i've never had a chance to!
With all the talk of splitting up the teams, i'd love to see Crosby and OV picked on the same team and placed on the same line, just for kicks! |
