Maxim Lapierre has been resigned by the Canucks. All you haters can breathe a sigh of relief that your team didn't pick him up. |

Posted - 06/28/2011 : 09:19:20 if Malhotra comes back 100% then the Canucks have arguably one of the best centre lineups in the NHL - Sedin/Kesler/Malhotra/Lapierre. I like that kind of depth going forward. |

Posted - 06/28/2011 : 07:31:28 I've never liked him but he is a useful player and even if Malholtra comes back he would be part of the fix on the 4th line where they need to improve. |

However, he was a very capable fill-in for Malhotra, and should Malhotra not come back (100% or even at all), he will slot nicely into the 3rd line centre roll.
We'll see if Canucks management can instill the same amount of professionalism in him, the way that that they did with Burrows and Kesler a couple of years ago... |
