the habs just signed Jeff Woywitka to add some defensive depth i was wondering if anyone knows anyhting about him, can`t say as i can remember seeing him plays he has good size at 6ft2 230lbs but i don`t know if he uses it, he his a career plus 1 and was plus 15 last season, and a 27th overall pick, 27 years old thats all i know anyone ever seen him play ? maybe in juniors?

He's a career journeyman #6 to #7 defensemen. There are about 100 of these guys bouncing around the NHL today another another 200+ of these guys in the AHL.

Completely insignificant.

He has bounced around a lot, he went over to St. Louis along with Brewer when Edmonton traded for Pronger way back when.

I think you got it pasty, big body, but will he use it?

Pasty....while i don't have a lot to add, i do recall him being a first round pick and a decent prospect. I'm assuming he's never panned out and at best will be a fill in, much like a couple guys Vancouver has had around in Nolan Baumgartner and more recently Ryan Parent.

Who knows, maybe teams take these guys on hoping they'll find good chemistry with a guy on their team and possibly find their "system" suits their play? Can't hurt.

hahha well hockey`s futur says he s a good skater so he is nothing like Gill to be honest i have never herd of him. i know he is on a 2 way contract so he may play in Hamilton untill their is a injury,, i was just curious if anyone could tell me different
