As is always the case, the CBC is the guiding influence in NHL scheduling. For example, Toronto gets to play every Satruday night on HNIC, and the CBC is single handedly responsible for that.
Well, the NHL went to the CBC to schedule the second round of the playoffs, and the CBC told them flat out to arrange the schedule so that Vancouver would not play on a Saturday night. They do not want to broadcast Vancouver games on HNIC's flagship night. They could have broadcast a double header of the Sens and the Canucks, but they would rather broadcast "Rushhour" for the umpteenth time than anything hockey related, west of Mississauga.
This is your tax dollars at work.
If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest you inundate CBC with complaints about this. Even if you HATE the Canucks, you are on here because you are a hockey fan. As a hockey fan, and a HNIC fan, will you accept the dictatorship that is the TBC CBC? Please don't
