Two weeks ago, I would have said all you people picking the Sens in 6 were smoking something. Now it's a real possibility. Game 6 should be a good one, and I think the Sens will win it.

The Sens have one huge advantage in that there is no pressure on them. They're already heroes in Ottawa just for making the playoffs. Making a series out of the first round has only elevated them. Even if they lose the next two games, there's no shame because they have already exceeded all expectations. They can play loose, they can put a winger on the first line who has no NHL experience at all.

The Rangers, on the other hand, have all kinds of pressure on them. They were expected to hand the Sens their hats and go deep in the playoffs. Now they're trailing this upstart team and it's got to be getting under their skin. They will be second guessing themselves from now until Monday night. Their most productive player is now out for game 6. Too much pressure.

If Anderson stays sharp, the Sens will move on to...Florida?? It's been a weird playoffs so far, both east and west.

It's not looking good, the Rangers can't find the back of the net. I'm still confident they can win game 6 in Ottawa tomorrow night to force a 7th game back at the Garden, but am quite nervous. Lundqvist has been solid (1.78 gaa, .945 sp%), but it's time for the big guys to step up offensively...Richards, Gabori, Callahan, etc.

Objectively, the Rangers should have this series BUT I think the Senators have a decent chance of pulling it out in 6 or 7.

I am going to say Sens in 7!

I think the Rangers will be under too much pressure to win as usual and choke. Spezza will dominate!

What!? Could happen! Not like I have Spezza in the pool or anything...oh wait! Go Sens!

Ottawa's fluke season is almost over...although they may win 1 game. Rangers in 5.

Who the cap fits...Let them wear it.

I went with Rangers in 5. I went to the Rangers season finale against the Caps at MSG on Saturday. As much as I wanted to see the Rangers win the game, it would of meant a match-up with the Caps in round 1 which I didn't really want. I was really hoping then that the Canes would of beat the Panthers which would of set up a Rangers/Panthers first round match-up, but no such luck.

I don't think the Rangers should have too much trouble getting by the Sens, but they still scare me a bit. If Anderson can get hot who knows.

in my opinion the only upset in the east. i think a lot of pressure just came off these guys when they relized they will not be up against boston first overall. they will be hungry and push the NYR to the limit. Sens in 7

Loven the fact that this poll looks like a 60/40 split. I cant see a better match up for the Ottawa Senators than the Rangers. A low scoring team wiy have th a hot goalie and a few offensive threats. For me a way better matchup than Boston.

Speaking of Boston liking the fact the Capitals face them first round as well. Think washington riding high at the end of the season will give the Bruins a good series.

These 2 teams stack up well with the top two teams in the east for upset possibilities.
