I have a feeling this is going the distance and i'm going with the home team taking it. I think Smith is good enough to keep the Coyotes in each game and give them a chance to win. It will really be intersting to see the shape Toews returns in and just how well he can contribute.
Keith also just returned from some time off, albeit a suspension and not injury, and Hossa is questionable to start the series last i heard?
Another tough one to predict but i'm going with Phoenix in 7. Hard to call the 3 over the 6 an upset, but in points i guess it is a bit of one? |

Haha, was my bias showing a bit? Seriously though, while the Coyotes aren't a Junior B team, I still think the 'hawks should be able to take this series, and its a much more favourable matchup than the Canucks, Blues, Preds or Wings in my opinion. |

Really looking forward to having Toews back for this series. I was complaining about the seeding process in the East, but I take it back here  . This is pretty much a first round bye for the 'hawks. (I hope I didn't just put the jinx on them.)
This is essentially the same team that took the Canucks to OT in game 7 last year, and the Coyotes just aren't as deep as the Canucks were... |

The Coyotes are a hard battling team, but the skill of the Hawks will kill them in the end.

Toews says he confident that he'll play, so Im gonna go with the hawks. How long it takes will depend on how many games smith can steal, I say hawks in 5 |

i think this will be the only sweep in the opening round this year. i think the hawks will take it in 4. |
