Which slow starting home team has the best chance of making a comeback and taking their first round series?

Well, now that the Pens are out, i'll vote Vancouver. What an absolutely crazy series that Pens / Flyers one was!!!

I still say it's the Pens here - just based on the defence and goaltending of the opponent. I cannot imagine Vancouver running over LA for 3 more straight games . . . in one of those games, you just know Quick will stand on his head, and/or the LA defence will shut them down for only 1 goal against.

On the other hand . . . as shaky as Fleury has been, it appears he is "back on", and we've seen him be darn good in those streaks. And, the offensive firepower of the Pens is clearly up to the task . . . and maybe they get Martin back at some point soon to shore up on defence as well.

Based on Fleury's improved play and the Penguin's improved scoring they would be my pick of an improbable comeback.

Much improved passing by the Sedin's, now that the other is back, and confidence in front of Schneider make the Canucks better but not as likely. I'd say the next game will be the last of the Canucks post season.

Either way I am shocked the Wings are the 1st team out. I didn't think they played that bad. Nashville played just like they have all season, keeping everything to the outside and giving Rinne a clear line of sight. Best part is the have so many players who can score from the front and back end.

The Pens have so much momentum right now, but I am afraid they will lose in 6. If they win game 6, they should win the series, and that would be absolutely crazy since the Flyers were the last team to come back down 3-0. Oh the irony.
