Posted - 05/27/2007 : 01:25:47 Detroit hands down at most they will lose schnieder and bertuzzi, but mark my words they will gain Giguere guranteed,,, and if they do lose mathieu they he will be replaced with a talented younster like scott hannan,,,, basicly they`ll have the same strong team with one of the top 5 goalies in the league instead of a 42 year old nut job whos as inconsistant and any goalie that closes his eyes when the puck comes.... this also takes a lto for me to say since im not a detroit fan,,,, i dont hate them but they are deffinetly no where near one of my teams

Same with Peter Budaj for colorado |

Posted - 05/19/2007 : 18:38:44 I would prefer Buffalo to be the underdog again. Then there work ethic would be actually good they just didn't want it until they actually needed to score. Next year is Buffalo. |

A year after they get bounced in the Stanley Cup Finals by Anaheim, Buffalo, one year wiser, comes on strong and breezes through the Stanley Cup Playoffs. On the strength of their big 3, Miller, Drury, and Briere, all signed to long term contracts by virtue of a trade that included Maxim Afinogenov, Buffalo will beat a San Jose team weakened by a grueling Western Conference playoff schedule in 5 games.

Manninm why do you think they would trade Afinogenov? I know the reason to trade him because you could to keep Drury and Briere and Miller but you could also give away Kotalik and who do you think they would give it to and would get in return?
Just out of curiosity. |

Stastny's getting really good, Sakic still is good, and colorado always gets great rookies, even when they had a good season, so I figure that since they've got a pretty good spot in the draft order, they're going to get a great rookie
And I was kidding (kind of) |
