Now that Jim Balsilie has purchased the Nashville Predators do you think he'll move the team north of the border?? It seems as if were about to get another team in Canada......Hamilton??......Kitchner??. Let me know what you guys think. |

Here's a very interesting interview with Balsillie's lawyer. It doesn't leave much doubt that they will move to Hamilton.

I can too. They don't have a legal leg to stand on...the way I see it is if Basillie wants them in Hamilton, he pays, and that's it. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I'm a Leafs fan, but I can see MLSE kicking up a stink about the Preds moving to Hamilton and making Basille have to pay not becuase of a fan base issue, but becuase MLSE will want more money. They're a corporation that bows down to the mighty dollar.I'd love to see the Preds in "the Hammer" Call them the Hamilton Tigers after their 1920's NHL team. |

I know everyone thinks it's a long shot, but I'm saying they're moving to Hamilton. Basillie doesn't care how much he has to give to MLSE to have a team there. He'll make it up ten-fold with the fan base in the golden horseshoe.
