I HATE CROSBY |
Posted - 06/04/2007 : 22:58:14 Here's a good question. Who's getting the MVP this playoffs? I assume the Ducks are going to win the cup, but no one player has stood out on that team this post season. It's been a total team effort! It looked like Alphie would get it for sure after 3 rounds, but he crapped out this round. The only one man show this playoffs got knocked out in round 2 (Luongo).

Getzlaf played well but considering the give aways or poor defensive play that lead to goals this playoffs, I don't think it would ever happen. Case and point Alfie's short hand goal in game 5 at Heatley's goal in game 4...
Still hell of a player though. |

Posted - 06/05/2007 : 15:22:02 It has to be Giggy. Noone stood out for the Ducks so there is only reason why they are even here, and his name is Giguere. His stats this postseason are exceptional and he has played great. It has got to be him.
Second place is only first place of the losers. |

Posted - 06/05/2007 : 07:34:31 I think MacDonald has made a good pitch. Hasn't played well up until the finals, but has been instrumental in the Ducks Successes.
However, Giggy will win if the Ducks take game 5. .920 save percentage so far. 3-1 with a SO. Stat's look good and he had been a brick wall. Ott has had to earn every goal they have gotten.

Posted - 06/05/2007 : 06:20:52 It'll probably be Giguerre, but Mcdonalds been great offensively, Selanne has a good defensive side to his game lately, Neidermayer is great all around, Pahlson is making nice plays and getting nice shots off, But for Ottawa their big three all played great through the first round butare playing brutal this round Emery is doing good but Giguerre is better.

Posted - 06/05/2007 : 06:11:28 I would have said Alfie and he still may get it but Scott Niedermeyer is a good possibility too.
