if it weren't for his last few years where he was clearly not into the game he would have been well over a point a game! He was a great player to watch and in his prime he could skate and score with the best of them.
His big mouth definitely made him entertaining on and off the ice. As a player his comments were passionate and earnest. But as a broadcaster I think his comments are contrived and designed for shock value...in otherwords...kind of sad.
He is only a few goals shy of 500...wouldn't you try to get a contract for one more season at any price to hit the mark? His heart is either completely out of it, or he tried and no one would take him...hey that would make a good poll. Which do you think it was? |

he willl probaly go into hockey entertainment aftern his retirment,, hes got a lot to say and hes entertaining to watch on hockey subjects
