After several disapointing campaigns by prominent players last year, who do you think will have the greatest comeback year?

Eric Staal
Rick Nash
Wade Reden
Alex Kovalev
Brian Gionta
Jonathan Cheechoo
Mats Sundin
Markus Naslund
Zdeno Chara

I've got Gaborik, Nash, and Kovalchuk in my pool. I hope at least one of them plays to potential. I figure I stole these three as "sleeper picks".

The Oil WILL make the playoffs.

I think Naslund will have a great year, and Breandan Morrison too because they do there very best to make sure they stay with the Canucks, and i think Nash will also live up to his huge potential, but he need more help.

Eric Staal is doing great so far, and I hope he has a great comeback season. However the player I think will do much better this year is Mats Sundin, he has a few good wingers to support him this year, Antropov and Ponikarovsky have improved greatly and Jason Blake isn't a bad addition either. Mats will be playing more minutes than ever, he'll be playing on the PP alot and probably the PK. There's no reason why Mats can't have a comeback year in 07/08, with 7 pts in his first 4 games I can see it.

Staal. He's too good to be a 70 point guy.
I think Nash will have a great year too.

Kovalev- I don't think he can stand another year of Habs fans hating him. He will pick up.

Gionta- Will pick up because of the Gomez loss.

Naslund- He said so himself he will improve. I for one believe him.

I think Eric Staal will have a bounce back year. He should pair up well with Eric Cole who should also have a big year.

I agree that Nash will. I think he's due for a year that will match his potential. It's just too bad he doesn't have much support.

I can see Naslund picking it up too. He's a UFA next year so he might be looking for a job!

If you are under the age of 15, please do some research before you make a post about anything pre-1997.

Rick Nash, after his conquest at the World Championships I think he is now ready to take his game to the next level. He did have more points last season, but with more games played...

I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.
