Posted - 10/21/2007 : 11:03:09 I was just wondering why Lundqvist didn't get credited with a shutout for yesterdays (Oct 20.) game against Boston. I know NYR lost but it was 0-0 going into a shoot out so he save % was 0.100 for the game and he stopped all 19 shots. Is that not a shutout?
Also Biron got no points for the win against PIT on the 20.

Posted - 10/21/2007 : 13:31:15 It is a shutout, and Lundqvist should have got pool points for a shutout. According to the official rules, when a game goes into a shootout 0-0, both goalies get the shutout, though only 1 will get the win. On NHL.com, Lundqvist was credited with the shutout - hopefully they will fix the stats here soon, from what I've seen so far they're very good at fixing stats mistakes like these. |
