Posted - 11/21/2007 : 10:52:53 I have watched Marian Gaborik play, and he is just something else to watch. But I get the sense from his lack of production that either A) he needs better line-mates or B) LeMaire needs to change the "system". I know that he has a glass groin. But he has been healthy for the most part of this season. Yet his production is way down from what his potential is.
I actually think that it is LeMaire that is holding this rocket back. If he was ever unleashed, I think that he would be one of the highest (if not THE highest) scorer right now. |

But when they are healthy there are incredible. Marian Gaborik has all the skill if he can get over this groin problem he will be a very dominant player. He is under rated on a under rated team. |

Posted - 11/22/2007 : 16:13:19 Gaborik is an awesome player and if he ever geats over his groin problems watch his point totals soar. I think the groin situation is chronic and sooner or later he may need an operation. It must also be contagious because all of a sudden Demitra has been befallen with the same malady. I have Demitra on my pool team and need him back big time. I pay extra attention to Gaborik because he is Demitra's meal ticket, when they are both healthy, which seems like almost never. |

Gaborik does need line mate. Normally, when healthy and he has Demitra playing with him, he's good for over a point a game.
It's not Lemaire's system, it's his own and Demitra's health issues.
Wayne or Bobby?? How about both!!!
If the key factor is indeed having a good playmaker, then I am not sure if Demitra is the right person. Don't get me wrong, I think Demitra is a good player. However, I think Gaborik would do better with someone who has a little more jump in their legs. He seems to have lost some speed over the years. Someone like Straka would be a better fit I think. |

Posted - 11/22/2007 : 07:54:45 Gaboriks production when he is in the line up is spectacular, not only does he produce for the team, but he is somewhat of a lucky charm for that wild team and when he is in the line up, they seem to win very often. |

Posted - 11/21/2007 : 14:11:38 I Hope he finds something because he is lacking in the points department which is seriously hurting my chances of winning my pool.
Pavol Demitra seems like a great fit for him but they are both having some groin troubles.
Maybe a draft pick could be sacrificed for a playmaker. |
