With a hat trick last night and his 25 goal matching that of Alexander Ovechkin, Marek Svatos is tearing it up this season. I can't remember the last time the league had so many strong rookies. 2002 was the last time we had a forward win the Calder and that was Dany Heatley with 67 points. This year's crop of rookies will blow that stat away. I love watching these young guys play.

Svatos, Crosby, Ovechkin, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Kovalchuk, Spezza, Staal, Heatley - What a pimpin group of young superstars. We can look forward to many great moments.
