Mike Millburry must have something on the ownership of the New York Islanders. He has done a terrible job ever since he joined the organization and is finally being relieved of his GM duties. Instead he will be the VP of the owner's sports properties. Should have been fired long ago.

I totally agree. He has been given so many opportunites in Long Island. For a while there it seemed like he could do no wrong. If he is now the VP of sports properties I wonder what kind of control he will have over the team? Hopefully no player decisions as he has made some really bad ones over the years.

Needing to fire 8 different coaches in 10 years seems to me like the problem roots from management. HE should have been fired sooner.
