Phoenix was granted the game in 2004 and I went on their website and it says it's supposed to be next weekend, the actual game on Sunday night. I hardly doubt that, seen as the Oilers are in Phoenix playing them at 8:00 ET. Anyone hear anything I haven't? |

Posted - 01/24/2006 : 07:31:48 Ok thanks Blade.
I enjoy the All-star events, it's just a nice way for players to show their individual talents. It usually provides comic relief from the stresses of the league for the players, and I like the Youngstars game, that would have been sweet this year. I think they should do like the NBA (I think...?) and have a game with the Rookies vs. the Sophomores. |

I would much rather see the NHL go the futbol route in non-Olympic years and see three three day breaks in the year and have International friendlies. I'm sure it would create much more interest then the All Star game. |
