Word is that Scott Niedermayer has opted for surgery next week. This hurts Canada's D and leadership big time. Jovo is a bit overrated so losing him isn't a big deal but Niedermayer is their best defenseman.

Ya I agree. McCabe, Boumeister and Boyle are good but its tough to replace Niedermayer and Jovo - overrated or not. Still, Canada should win the gold.
