Good news for Canada - This morning against Germany, Dominik Hasek left the game early in the first period with a leg injury. Vokoun can definitely step up and play, but it is tough to replace a guy like Hasek.

Elias is out as well. I can see why GM's aren't the biggest fans of this tournament. Looks like the Czechs may not be considered as favorites any more.

There are a lot of "I told you so's" going around the NHL right now I'm sure. Don Cherry has predicted that after 2010 in Vancouver the NHL will pull out of the Olympics.
