The Colorado Avalanche signed Forsberg after a long, see-saw decision making process. Is Forsberg going to be a distraction, or a great help?

I doubt that he will go to either of the extremes, therfore my natural selection lay in the second option.

First off, if he signed with a team not even in the playoff picture right now, then he is serious about his play and they are serious about him. Second of all, he is back home guys, it isnt like shipping him out to the middle of Tennesse, this guy knows the city, knows some of the players, and wants to win again. I think he might not produce as much as some would like, but he won't be too distracting. I like this acquisition overall.
