I was wondering who would be your Mcguire monster thingie of the year so far? For me Getzlaf straight up. Scores, great leader, gritty, make players better around him and also great 2 way player.

Antropov for sure....LOL. In all seriousness, who is a bigger monster than Ovechkin? I don't know anyone who wouldn't want this guy on their favourite team!!!! |

Malkin anyone? The guy single handily kept Pittsburgh afloat in the East and has stayed near the top of the scoring race. He proved that he can be a 1st line center in the league. I think this guy came right out of left field, and he has to be my monster.

I'm with you guys on Ovechkin.
The guy plays hard and he looks like he's having the most fun out of anyone in the arena.

I second Ovechkin. He's just too damn good to be denied this season. He is the hungriest player I've seen in a long, long time! Actually, I don't think I have ever seen ANYONE as hungry as Ovechkin has been in all the years that I've watched hockey. |
