Im with Pickles Huselius isnt 24 anymore,
He is in the prime of his career, I cant see him doing much better then anything he has already.
Sorry Leigh but he doesnt have the consistency that a player in his prime years should.

I like Huselius. He's going to have a great career when he finds consistency. He has some of the softest hands in the league.

But ultimatley if I had to choose I'd take Langkow over the next year or two. Huselius has a couple years of development to get through. He'll be a force though.

He's going to have a great career when he finds consistancy??? His career has already begun, he is no longer a prospect. Puh-lease!!

The main idea is Langkow fits in Cow town.
Huselius doesnt anymore.
Langkow is far more proven and more of a consistent two way player.
Huselius may be better offensively but he isnt consistent and he is one of the least defensive players in the league right now.
I would give Langkow more money!

Langkow is proven and a bigger asset to his team.
He is a two way player, both offensive and defensive.
Huselius is a one way player, all he can play is offense.
He is half a player and unconsistent, he was even scratched for a few games last year.

Although I believe Langkow is definitely worth more than Huselius, I am still surprised at the value of both of their contracts. After voting Langkow in this poll, I realized that for my money I might rather have some magic Beans!

Langkow is a far more consistant player. Although I think Huselius has more offensive skill, he falls asleep on the defensive end and he will disappear completely for games on end.

Let's not forget that Langkow has 6 straight seasons of 20+ goals plus the past 2 seasons having more than 30 goals. Also, he's missed a grand total of 17 games in the past 8 seasons.

Sutter is a guy that likes consistancy and grit. Langkow has that in spades over Huselius. I'm not surprised at the deal at all.
