The Kings are holding a press conference this morning and the word is Luc Robataille is going to announce his retirement. Its the end of the road for this future Hall of Famer and its too bad his final season ended this way. Seems like too often the games greats play way past their prime and go out on a low.

His numbers are still pretty respectable with 15 goals and 10 assists in sixty odd games. Just last season he had over 50 pts and he won a cup only a few years ago with Detroit. He could play another couple years without any issues if he wanted to. His stats are crazy!

Like I say for a lot of oldies...

With all due respect, it's about time.
