Wow - one game is all he gets? I know it is do or die in the NHL playoffs but this guy is a Calder candidate, a Vezina candidate and has had a great year. With him and Jagr sitting it will be a quick series for the Rangers.

I wouldn't consider it much more of a breeze for New Jersey. The article eluded to the success he had with Carolina, has everyone forgotten about it? It's like the situation Anaheim is/was in and the one Ottawa will likely see too. When your number one guy is injured (or having just gotten back from one, as is Lundqvist), use your backup, and just like Anaheim, Ottawa, Montreal, San Jose and many other teams this year, their second goalie could perform as well as their starter - in many cases like Montreal and San Jose the backup used to be a starter so why not use them?
