Is that it for Stevie? If so, what a career!

Hey slapshot, looks like you might be right. I heard on TSN on the weekend that the Wings are practically begging Stevie to return for another season. And apparently he has been having calls with Gretzky and the great one says that "if you have any reservations about retiring then don't! Otherwise you'll end up regretting it". I know it's just speculation but I for one would be happy to see him return for another season.

The way the season started for Stevie you would have predicted a mid season retirement, but he ended up scoring 18 points in the last 20 games of the season and had a pretty good playoff considering his teams outcome. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we saw him again come October.

No need to debate this one like we did for Turgeon and Shanahan! Give him an express fast-pass super speed lane to get in.

give him a one way pass to the hall of fame.

At least he got a point in the game. no cartilage left in his knee but he never complained. What a soldier!

True, but what a crappy way to go.
