Now that Hossa's on Detroit that is huge!!
Datsuyk, Zetterberg, Hossa, Holmstrom,Franzen, Lidstrom, Rafalski no one can match that
Detroit will dominate the West and win the cup again!

I think that it will be Detroit in the West. They are even better this year
In the East, I think that Montreal will likely win. I am not a Philly fan, but expect that it is possible for them to take it away from the Habs.

Well I think detroit will win the west and Rangers win the east.But it would be close against NYR and MTL. |

There is no doubt that the Wings are the class of the west, they have essentially the same roster as last year, when they won it all and then went out and added Hossa. They are an insane team.
Montreal, however, truly does have 3 bonafide scoring lines. They too have basically the same team that finished first last year. They lost Streit, but added Tanguay and Lang. Price now knows what it takes. He won't have a meltdown this year.
Montreal takes it all!

Sorry, but the Habs blow the Oilers out of the water in terms of depth. They ARe the deepest team in the league. They have players in the 'A' that would be on most other teams |

Colorado Avalanche (won 5 straight since 0-3 start)
and the surprise Carolina Hurricanes
for the record its Montreal and Buffalo deadlocked for #1 in my books

What a shame to have plotted out a contribution so meticulously, right down to the perfect number of exclamation marks, the subtle, yet oh so effective use of the caps lock key, and of course the ideal emoticon, which brings the whole thing together quite neatly, only to have your magnum opus marred by an errant keystroke. Maple Leafs will win it all. They have young unknown players who have nothing to lose every night.....this is gona be a cinderella hockey story!!!!!! bigger surprise than when USA won gold medal back in the 80s. Toskala for the Vezina, Steen for the Art Ross, Grabovski for the Hart and Pearson, Anthropov for Selke, Blake for the Maurice Richard, Schenn for the Calder, Wilson for the Adams, and Kaberle will win the Norris and the Conn Smythe!!!!!!!!!!!! |
