Vanek is looking pretty sharp so far, and Buffalo overall is looking as a firewagon, offense first hockey team.
I know it's early, but 8 goals in in 7 games is a nice streak. The geek in my is saying if that pace continues and he stays healthy, that's 94 goals over 82 games.
Highly unlikely for that, but I don't think 50+ is out of the question. Then maybe all those dorks out there that said Lowe was an idiot for offering $10 million a season will have a nice dinner of Crow! |

Why shouldn't we include injuries? Do they not count just as much as a goal?
I predict Martin Havlat will lead the league with 42 goals and 27 injuries for a whopping total of 69 goanjuries.... |
