IIt is apparent that the Rangers have a lot of talent this year and are a good team with 21 points already this early in the season. Lundquist has been the top goalie in the league so far but is that because the NYR defence has been the best? When you look at the scoring, Dubinsky and Garardi started out of the gate very fast, Zherdev has remained consistant as has Marcus Naslund. They play on different lines so they don't feed each other. The Leafs scored 5 goals on them on HNIC during the last half of the 3rd period after being behind 2-0. I believe they may have held on if Lundquist would have been in goal. He is the anchor. Naslund and Zherdev are the strength along with a good supporting team. At the moment I think this choice comes down to one of those 3. The Rangers broke down badly and Rennie will no doubt be getting an earful from Sather about now.

I think it does and Gomez is a pointer like you said and Zherdev and Naslund but Drury isn't doing as good as last year. |

They're definately both doing better in their new environment and yes they're getting pts but Gomez, who is also a point producer is playing 23 mins a game (most on the team) to Naslund's 16 mins and Zherdev's 15 mins. Obviously used in all situations. He's also clutch, with 2 GWG this year (naslund and zherdev have 0). Early days though, Drury can always make a good argument for himself as well. I guess it depends on your definition of "Best" |

I know that, but Naslund wasn't doing as good on Vancouver last year but this year he is doing much better on NYR and so is Zherdev. |

Lundqvist is by far the best player on NY's roster, but if you're talking about Forwards and Defence, I don't know how Gomez isn't entering the conversation. Naslund WAS great and in his prime would have been the top talent on the team, but now his time is past. Gomez has to be your go to guy on the team. Zherdev's got skills but he's one dimensional and we're only 12 games into the season and everyone seems to forget how invisible he was in Columbus. |

Once again facts are against you on this one which is the reason people think you don't no much about hockey, you made it sound like Markus Naslund was comparable to Colton Orr, to me that shows how little you no about this game.

i dont think so buddy, hes a goon hee cant play hockey he just gets under peoples skin and fights. i mean yeah every team needs a gritty guy like orr but hes not anywhere close to good.
