I couldn't believe what I heard this morning - Niittymaki is the 14th Flyer to go under the knife since their first round loss to the Sabres. How can you win when two thirds of your team is playing hurt. Not only hurt, but so bad as to require surgery. Maybe Clarke deserves another mulligan on this season - although how many more chances will he get?

Side note - Forsberg is gone until January. How much longer will his body allow him to play as hard as he does?
