It's your choice who do you think is going to win it?

Brodeur...out
Nabokov...hurt, but recovering
Luongo...out
Dipietro...out

Well that leaves Lundqvist and Thomas to slug it out, with Pascal Leclaire or Miikka Kiprusoff as dark horses. The exceptional play of Khabibulin, assuming he can actually stay injury free for a whole season, deserves mention as well.
Long story short, Thomas gets no respect, and Kiprusoff is not performing up to expectations this year (so far).

It's Lundqvist's for the taking as far as I'm concerned, but I'm kinda rooting for Khabibulin as everyone assumed his career was over.

Shame about Huet, I kinda hope he ends up in New Jersey.

It will either be Luongo or Thomas.

Correction - Thomas in Boston, of course.

Looks like Beans was a bit fast with his prognosticating . . . and heck, who'd have thought Brodeur was going to be out so long, skating off the ice with looked like a bruised elbow? It's an odd one.

Early on, it's all Luongo, but I see Kipper starting off better than usual, and Lundqvist is clearly a future superstar. I say it's between these three, with a surprise or two thrown in - say, Miller in Buffalo and Thomas in Buffalo, with perennial contenders Nabakov and Giggy lurking with lots of wins.

Ok, it's a toss up after Luongo . . . his race to lose at this point.

It's a bruised elbow....can't see him missing to much time. He should take home the Vezina, although Miller is looking pretty good in this early season.

edit...

well I'm an idiot....Brodeur won't be winning the Vezina and may not break records this year...

I don't think that Brodeur will miss many games. He will be back, have another strong year and lead his team into the playoffs.

Above that, the Trophy will go back to Fatso under just about any circumstance. He will break both the all time wins and all time shut out records this season. Pretty hard to give it to anyone else after that.

Brodeur will win it again.

Now that Brodeur is out and no body knows when he will be back, I think a couple goalies have a chance.

Luongo, Price, Nabokov, Lundqvist etc.
