Posted - 05/23/2006 : 11:14:09 Most people saw this coming so its not a huge surprise. Crawford was on radio in Vancouver and he talked a bit about Bertuzzi. He continues to say that he has a lot of respect for him. He said they weren't 'kissing cousins' but had a respectful working relationship. He also backed Todd on having a more difficult year mentally than anyone knows and he stated he will be better next year. Interesting.

Posted - 05/24/2006 : 07:43:27 I think they will rebuild this team - they have to. Lombardi is a great GM and built San Jose to where they are today. I think you will see them dump a lot of baggage including Avery and Roenick and try to get younger.
