the only reason the habs would want elias is for experience, he could be valuable this year to teach the young guys like price and even older guys that have never been to the cup like markov what it takes to win it all. but plekanec is too good of a prospect and is a key cog in the juggnernaut habs offense. no deal |

Elias is like the Yzerman to the devils. Pleckanec would not bring that roll to new jersey and the habs already have that in Koivu.
