Posted - 05/30/2006 : 08:18:48 Sabres fans better hope that Teppo Numminen laces up to play tonight. Having your top 3 defensemen injured has got to suck. It also turned around the series and it could all be over for Buffalo tonight. I think he needs to suck it up and play hurt - a pulled groin isn't a broken bone(although even that hasn't stopped others) and he needs to play if Buffalo wants to go to the final.

Posted - 05/30/2006 : 08:47:35 A groin pull is a pretty serious injury for a player. He hasn't even skated since the injury which tells you it is pretty bad. But you are right - it is do or die tonight and I know it is a cliche but he has all summer to let it heal.
