Posted - 11/16/2008 : 15:14:20 The answer is "other" and they had the right guy in place but fired him. The best coach out there right now without a team is John Tortorella.
Crawford would be a good pick as well, but I have never really been a fan of his. He seems to have a history of taking a team and making them average.
Other than that, I think it is time for some fresh blood in the world of NHL coaching. I like Tocchet getting a shot and I hope he does well and gets a longer term chance. The guy has been an assistant coach with Colorado and Phoenix before working with Barry Moron in TB.
Tocchet was one of my favorite players growing up and I am rooting for him to do something in TB. |

Denis Savard. The guy just got a taste of coaching and was already having success. He was unfairly fired and I feel deserves another shot.
He is out of the contentions now, he is an ambassador for Chicago. I dont know how they can fire some1 after 4 games. Thats truly disrespectful.
