Take that haters!!
At 4:00pm/pt The Vancouver Canucks will host the Toronto Maple Leafs. Now this is at 4:00 PT and 7:00 ET. So for all sports fans out west who cheer for the Canucks, they will have to tune in at the inopportune time of 4:00. AND for all lucky viewers like me out on the Eastern time zone we get to see our beloved Leafs play in primetime at 7:00. Now if you understood my entire explanation you might have the theory that the NHL,once again, adapts to the center-point of the hockey world.
Not that i have a problem with it just wanted to point it out for all you haters of the Leafs.
I would be mad if I were a Canucks fan. |

Clearly you aren't a scriptwriter. 
Best would be if he scored shorthanded on a breakway in overtime to win the game, or in the shootout. But yeah, this way was nice too.

I don't think wellwood is doing any better or worse than he was during the 06-07 season when he had like 48 points in 42 games or something close to that. He had 2 hernia surgeries heading into last season and it was unreasonable to expect him to play at full capacity. Although, he could have rehabbed alot harder. I'm glad to see him doing well in Vancouver as I was a fan of his in Toronto. I think teams are going to target him a little more now though, if he gets run into the boards a couple times watch his production drop.

yes i watch steve dangle all the time on youtube. ive seen almost all of his videos. we need him on this site. ive even asked him about joining. he will set all the leaf fans straight on this site. and even non leaf fans. this guy loves hockey and im sure if he were ever to join everyone would be agreeing with him

Anyways, he said how people are bitching now about losing Welwood, and how they all think they can run the team. Well, no, he shouldn't have remained a Leaf. He's flourishing in Vancouver not because he's out of a slump or he's finally developped his potential. He is flourishing there because it's not here, simple as that.
And the Leafs needed to ship him. I mean, he wasn't into working hard, he would have been crushed under Wilson, and he had too many negative vibes from the old Leafs that he just couldn't shake off. Better to unload the salary.

wow i watched the game the announcer are so ridiclous like sure luongo is amazing but hell its not like he on the ice by himself scoring goals give vancouver some credit there a good team by the way funny how wellwood scored sure looks like a good for what they got for him......haha |

I wasn't mad at all, i got to watch UFC after with not conflict! I am more mad about next saturday when they play out east at 11:00 pst, that sucks!!

Toronto fans have no idea about the Canucks because they never get a chance to see them play, you will be suprised to see the team is more then just a goalie.
The laffs on the other hand I have to watch constantly at 4pm every Saturday....I know they are garbage because I witness it all the time. |
