They played the night before against the rangers, had to travel 2 time zones to play a division rival without 2 of their top 4 D and theyre starting goalie and still won. i think its time we give them some credit and people realize this team is for real. |

Posted - 11/22/2008 : 11:49:05 Well Luongo just got injured a few minutes ago so I guess we'll find out how much of a one man team they are. Judging by his body language as they carried him off the ice it doesn't look like a short term injury.
EDIT - well they won again. That's two straight wins with out Luongo -against good teams too (PIT and MIN) |

Posted - 11/21/2008 : 12:58:27 Ya, they're looking pretty good and they're slowly winning me over (in terms of belief that they are not a one man team) BUT it's early yet. 20 games is great but a whole season is what matters. Right now their young guys look great but can they keep it up. It's one thing to be hopeful and believe, but it's another thing to base it on substance.
I will say that with a healthy defense they are pretty good. Mitchell played VERY well last night!
I still think that the Canucks have yet to play a Flames or an Oiler team that is playing like they should. |
