There is a long tradition of great NHL families: Tony/Phil Esposito, the Sutter clan, the Richard brothers etc. With a surprisingly high number of related players playing at a high level this year, the question is, which of these NHL families is having the best year so far?

Totally forgot the Koivu's:
S.Koivu - 7g, 11a, 18pts. M.Koivu - 5g, 15a, 20pts. Total - 38 pts.

I think they will fall off on production, but obviously a great start for Mikko and Saku is healthy. But I don't see that lasting for long . . .

Great poll, I had this as a topic idea myself once and never got around to doing it.

The frontrunners so far:
H. Sedin - 3g, 18a, 21pts. D.Sedin - 10g, 11a, 21pts. Total: 42 pts.
E.Staal - 8g, 6a, 14pts. J.Staal - 7g, 5a, 12pts. M.Staal - 1g, 3a, 4pts +5 Total: 30pts

Hard to figure in defenceman with only offensive stats, and I'll leave the goalie Lundqvist out of this, although on his own he makes that family a contender.

Sedin twins take it as of now, but overall I have to give it to the Staals. I think Eric will pick it up laster in the year, and I see Jordan improving as well, and heck, they have numbers. When/if the fourth one arrives, it'll be hard to knock them off their pedestal.
